Funselektor fixed recovery missions and challenge trails failing to award Pebbles on subsequent completions in build 26.10.16_57fb763. Update before concluding that the activity pays only once.

Which reward failure does this fix address?

The developer specifically identifies subsequent completions of recovery missions and challenge trails. The important distinction is between completing an activity for the first time and repeating it after a successful run. If the first paid but the next did not, that matches the type of issue named in the patch.

This does not establish the value of each activity, an unlimited guaranteed payout under every condition or the fastest route for earning currency. Those require further evidence. The useful correction is narrower: a failed repeat payout was a bug, not proof that every route was intended to be a one-time reward.

Recheck it without wasting a long session

  1. Let Steam finish updating the game, then start a fresh session. Compare your installed version with build 26.10.16_57fb763 or a later update that includes its fixes.
  2. Choose a challenge trail or recovery mission you can already finish. Avoid adding the uncertainty of a new route while checking a repeat-reward problem.
  3. Note the Pebble balance before starting. Finish the activity and check the completion indication and resulting balance, not just a passing animation.
  4. If you are specifically checking repeat rewards, repeat the same completed activity and compare the second result separately.

Do not confuse a counter problem with missing currency

The same update also corrected the Pebble increment counter glitching during wildlife photography. That is a different issue from repeated route payouts. Record which activity you performed and what failed: completion recognition, the visible increment or the final currency balance.

A useful report if it still happens

Keep the installed build, objective name, whether this was the first or a repeat completion, and before/after balances together. Add a screenshot of the actual completion result if possible. That is more diagnostic than reporting only “money is broken.”

Do not reset progress just to reproduce the issue. The published fix does not require deleting a save, and the announcement does not promise retroactive payment for every earlier missed reward. Keep missing historical rewards separate from a fresh run that still fails after updating.
