Before developing: finish the Star Lockers
The collectible guide identifies this photo-development sequence as the practical stopping point for a final backtrack. If you want Stella Plena, finish the six-star and six-cabinet sweep before processing the photograph.
You need the Photo Roll from the floor of the theater lobby on Floor 1 of the apartment building, plus Chemicals from the south table in Ivan’s Floor 3 bathroom. The bathroom is opened with the red Pentacle Stone. Collect those supplies before expecting the darkroom’s tables to complete the chain.
Turn the ordinary bulb red
In the film school’s first-floor photo room, take the Lightbulb from the lamp in the far-left corner. Then return to the apartment building’s Floor 1 dining room and take its rightmost door into the staircase.
At the top, the boarded door requires the Cold Chisel, followed by melee strikes to remove the boards. If you still need that tool, project the complete Devora movie or Canister 3 and collect the Cold Chisel from the final theater box.

Beyond the top staircase door, go right and push the bookcase aside. Enter the hidden room and use the ordinary Lightbulb on the bloody table to obtain the Red Lightbulb. Leaving triggers a cutscene and an ambush; survive that sequence, then return to the school darkroom.

Use three work areas in the darkroom
- Corner lamp: use the Red Lightbulb to install the red light.
- Trays directly above the lamp: use the Chemicals to prepare them.
- Northern central table: use the Photo Roll to obtain the Negative.
- Table to the left: use the Negative, then use Photo Paper. This produces the Printed Photo.
- Chemical trays: use the Printed Photo. A cutscene follows and you receive the finished Photo.

The drawer opens in Ivan’s bedroom, not the darkroom
Take the finished Photo back to Ivan’s Floor 3 bedroom. Use it on the table containing the picture frame, then interact with the table again to retrieve the Hexagonal Stone from the drawer. Merely opening the drawer is not the end of the pickup.
Return to the film school’s second floor, where Sanguis lies against the wall. Exhaust his dialogue and use the Hexagonal Stone on the symbol-marked locked door. That is the progression use for the stone.
Diagnose the item you currently have
- Photo Roll: you still need the northern central table.
- Negative: go to the left table and follow it with Photo Paper.
- Printed Photo: take it to the prepared chemical trays.
- Photo: leave the school and visit the Floor 3 picture-frame table.
- Open drawer, no Stone: interact with the table again.
This sequence is unrelated to the achievement for looking at the earlier office picture five times. The similar names do not make the two photographs interchangeable.
