The Witch’s Bakery
How to open the early underwater Heart Palace’s keyhole door
On this page
Talk to Sadness at the tall door, then slide the lower blue section left until its black line joins the keyhole symbol above it. This guide covers the early underwater door shown in the release playthrough, not every later Heart Palace or a relationship-locked barrier.
Finish the conversation at the door
Follow the underwater route until Lunne meets the small Sadness emotion beside a tall stone structure. Complete the conversation. Sadness then points out the door, and Lunne’s next interaction brings up its movable section.

Complete the keyhole symbol
- Interact with the indicated door section after the conversation.
- Select the lower blue section with the vertical black line.
- Use the displayed movement controls to slide it left.
- Align its black line with the upper keyhole so the symbol is continuous.
- Let the opening animation finish and continue along the route.

If you cannot move the section
Check that the conversation is finished and that you entered the door interaction. Ordinary character movement does not manipulate the puzzle. Use the Move, Select and Cancel prompts shown for your current input device; a different controller layout may show different buttons.
If your obstacle has different symbols or asks for relationship progress, stop comparing it with this door. The screenshots identify a specific early puzzle. They do not establish that an unrelated barrier can be opened by repeating the same movement.
Once this door is open, continue exploring the Heart Palace. The opening animation is your confirmation; there is no need to keep moving the section afterwards.
