Mouse cm/360 calculator with custom yaw
On this page
Centimetres per full turn equal 360 × 2.54 divided by DPI, sensitivity and yaw. Yaw here means degrees per mouse count at sensitivity one.
Generic mathematical model, not a named game’s simulator. All starting values are invented examples. Supply verified values for your game and check the assumptions below.
Your scenario
Formula and units
Counts for 360° = 360 / (sensitivity × yaw). cm/360 = counts / DPI × 2.54. New sensitivity at unchanged yaw = old sensitivity × old DPI / new DPI.
Worked example
Using illustrative values of 800 DPI, sensitivity 1 and yaw 0.022 gives about 51.955 cm per full turn. At 1,600 DPI with the same yaw, sensitivity 0.5 preserves that physical distance. The example yaw is an input scenario, not a verified preset for your game.
How to use this comparison
Get a supported angular coefficient for the exact game and mode before treating a result as calibration. If you cannot establish it, measure actual turn distance instead and record the setting. Moving between different games requires their separate coefficients, not just an eDPI match.
Read the result correctly
A large centimetres-per-turn value means more physical mouse movement for the same rotation. The quarter-turn and half-turn table can help compare the result with desk space. This is a geometric conversion, not a recommendation that a particular sensitivity improves aim.
Model boundaries
Yaw is supplied by you; no game preset is implied. The model requires a linear, unaccelerated mouse mapping and excludes ADS scaling, scope multipliers, smoothing, acceleration and controller input. Matching centimetres per turn does not match field of view or perceived screen speed.
