Does Zeus ultimate reveal invisible heroes? Reading the True Sight window
On this page
Thundergod’s Wrath provides True Sight around each enemy hero before striking. Its current base sight window is three seconds, so it is temporary information rather than permanent tracking.

The ultimate can affect a fight’s information as well as its damage. Make the information actionable: teammates need to know when it is available and should not assume it remains valid after the window.
What to do, in order
- Identify the question you need answered: finishing a low-health hero, checking enemy locations or briefly exposing hidden heroes.
- Communicate a planned information cast when teammates can use it instead of treating every revealed location as a solo chase invitation.
- Cast and observe the locations and vision the spell supplies. Keep the temporary window in mind.
- Use follow-up information after the window ends. Do not infer that a hero stayed at the revealed location.
- If damage differs from the listed base number, review the target’s defenses and current state; global targeting does not mean unmodified guaranteed health loss.
Match the symptom to the cause
The hero disappeared again
The True Sight duration is finite. Do not treat a reveal as a permanent debuff or tracker.
I knew a location but could not safely chase
Information does not remove enemy teammates or terrain risks. Share it and choose a useful follow-up rather than assuming reveal means kill.
I expected one damage number against everyone
The tooltip’s base damage is not a complete calculation against every hero’s active defenses.

Apply it to one concrete situation
If the cast reveals a hidden enemy near an ally, that ally has a short opportunity to respond. A teammate arriving much later needs fresh vision; repeating the old location as if it were current can produce a bad engagement.
Current base tooltip values
Values below are the unmodified fields in Valve’s dated English ability data. Slash-separated entries are listed level values, not a recommended skill build. Read the field label: damage, range, duration and percentages have different meanings. Upgrades and modifiers can change your client’s values.
| Tooltip field | Listed base value(s) |
|---|---|
| Mana cost | 250 / 375 / 500 |
| Cooldown (seconds) | 130 |
| TRUE SIGHT RADIUS | 600 |
| DURATION | 3 |
| DAMAGE | 275 / 425 / 575 |
Limits that matter
This guide does not claim the spell defeats every untargetable or invulnerable state. It reports the True Sight behavior in the current official description and separates it from unsupported exception lists.
Related questions
How large is the listed True Sight area?
The dated base data lists a 600 radius around each hero. That is a local reveal around each enemy, not a permanent whole-map vision grant.
How much base damage is listed?
The current unmodified values are 275/425/575 by ultimate level; actual health lost depends on the target’s applicable defenses.
