Applies to: Beta v0.110.0 and v0.111.0 interaction. Check the installed card text before following the combination.

For the reviewed beta sequence, Outbreak becomes a costly one-shot Poison application with an immediate trigger, while Mirage again converts enemy Poison into Block and gains a later Exhaust restriction. Build application, the trigger and survival as separate jobs; do not copy the older Power-card Outbreak plan.

Build the useful turn, in order

  1. Verify that Outbreak is the beta Skill rather than the earlier ongoing Power. Plan around the role your card actually has.
  2. Identify how Poison is applied before the defensive or triggering payoff. A hand full of payoffs is not the same as a hand able to establish the condition.
  3. Keep enough energy for the relevant survival action. Outbreak’s listed beta cost is 3, so it can crowd out another necessary cast.
  4. Inspect whether Mirage is upgraded and whether it Exhausts on your branch. Decide how the deck defends after that copy leaves the combat cycle.

What the plan needs

A Poison deck must survive the time between applying damage and winning. Mirage addresses a different part of that interval from an immediate trigger. If every new pick increases eventual damage but leaves the first dangerous turn unchanged, the deck can become more impressive on paper and less reliable in practice. Choose the next card by the gap the current deck has, rather than taking every Poison-related name.

A concrete comparison

The v0.110.0 Outbreak listing applies 9 Poison, or 12 when upgraded, to all enemies and triggers Poison immediately. That is a documented card effect, not a complete kill calculation. Existing stacks, enemy defenses and the exact current state still matter. Do not label 9 as the total Poison after other applications or assume a later Mirage value without reading the current preview.

When the interaction fails

My Outbreak keeps triggering after each application

You are describing the older Power version, not this beta rework.

Mirage is unavailable on the next cycle

Check the v0.111.0 Exhaust change and upgrade state.

The deck wins slowly but cannot survive

Prioritize the missing defense window instead of another late payoff.

Version and sources

Sources retrieved October 18, 2026. The stated branch is part of the mechanic, not an optional label. Main and beta may have different card text; do not combine values from both into a fictional build. Calculations and decision sequences are independent analysis, not a personal gameplay result, win-rate claim or guaranteed infinite.

Before adopting the route, compare the current card, its upgrade state and the encounter you need it to solve. If a required piece is absent, choose the next useful action from the existing deck rather than taking a risky reward solely to force this example.
