Give Old Master Cannoli one Sweet Gem Berry, then interact with the statue again to receive a Stardrop. The berry grows from a Rare Seed. A Rare Seed on its own, a Starfruit or a cooked dessert will not complete the exchange.

Buy a Rare Seed before the season gets away from you

Check the Traveling Cart in Cindersap Forest on Fridays and Sundays. Rare Seeds are part of its spring and summer stock at 1,000g each; they can also appear in its random stock during other seasons. Pierre does not sell them as an ordinary crop seed.

You need only one harvested berry for the statue. If you are growing several to sell, reserve one before emptying the harvest into the shipping bin. A normal-quality berry works, so there is no benefit to giving up a better-quality one just for this reward.

Allow 24 growing days

Without growth-speed bonuses, a Rare Seed takes 24 days to produce a Sweet Gem Berry. Planting on Fall 1 and watering daily gives a Fall 25 harvest. Fall 4 is the last planting date for a Fall 28 harvest under those same assumptions; a missed watering day can spoil that tight schedule.

If you have already missed the outdoor window, use the Greenhouse or wait for another fall. Do not plant outside in the last week of the season expecting a mature crop before winter. The seed packet’s all-season wording is a warning about its long growth time, not a promise that it grows through every season.

Clear the log, then head northwest

The usual entrance to the Secret Woods is in the northwest corner of Cindersap Forest. A large log blocks it until you have a Steel Axe or better. A Copper Axe can remove large stumps, but it cannot clear this entrance log.

Inside, carry a weapon for the slimes and cross to the northwest corner. Old Master Cannoli stands on a stone platform near the pond. You do not need a Secret Note, a friendship level or a completed Community Center to make the berry exchange.

Give the berry, then speak to the statue once more

  1. Select the Sweet Gem Berry in your toolbar.
  2. Stand close to Cannoli and interact to offer it.
  3. Watch for the statue’s eyes and mouth to change.
  4. Interact again to claim the Stardrop. Do not walk away after the first exchange and assume the reward is missing.

The Stardrop permanently raises maximum energy by 34. This is a one-time reward for each player, not a daily trade. In multiplayer, one berry makes the reward available to the other players too; they still need to visit the statue to collect their own.

If the statue still repeats its clue

Check the selected item’s name first. Rare Seed, Ancient Seed, Starfruit and Sweet Gem Berry are different items. If the berry is still in your bag, move closer and use the interaction button while holding it. If the berry was accepted but you have no reward, try the second interaction before growing another crop.
