How to solve Secret Note 19 in Stardew Valley
On this page
Start outside the front door of 1 Willow Lane and follow each arrow until a permanent obstacle stops you. The route ends behind Lewis’s house. Use the interaction button to collect Solid Gold Lewis; you do not need to dig it up.

Read the note before setting out
Secret Notes start appearing after you obtain the Magnifying Glass from A Winter Mystery. Walk from your farm into the Bus Stop during winter, between 6am and 4pm, then follow the footprints to the bush beside the playground west of the Community Center. Interact with the bush to finish that encounter.
Afterward, normal activities such as mining, fishing and fighting can produce notes. You cannot choose number 19 from a shop. When you find it, select and read it from your inventory; carrying an unread note is not the same as adding its clue to your collection.

The starting house belongs to Jodi and Sam
1 Willow Lane is the house near Pelican Town’s southwest exit, where Jodi, Sam and Vincent live, with Kent joining them from Year 2. It is not Lewis’s house and not the farmhouse. You do not need to go inside or enter anyone’s bedroom to start the arrow route.

Each arrow means “keep walking this way until the map blocks you,” rather than “take one step.” A passing villager is not the intended endpoint: wait for the path to clear instead of turning early. If you lose track of the row, restarting from the door is easier than guessing which obstruction you reached.
The full sequence is left → up → right → up → right → down → left → down → left → down. Finish each movement before advancing to the next arrow.
Collect the statue behind the mayor’s house
The last stretch takes you behind the Mayor’s Manor. The roof hides the reward, so do not judge success by whether you can see a gold object on screen. At the destination, use the normal interaction button on the ground; PC uses right-click by default. A pickaxe or hoe is unnecessary.

If the route yields nothing, check the start position, the last few turns and whether you already collected the statue. Retracing it does not produce unlimited copies. The item is furniture, not a shipment you can sell for a windfall.
Put it outside in Pelican Town for the second secret
You can keep the statue as decoration. To see Lewis’s response, place it outdoors in Pelican Town, somewhere villagers will not walk through it, and sleep. The following day, a Rotten Plant replaces it and an unsigned letter arrives with 750g.
Avoid seasonal decoration spots and the last night of a season. The statue can be destroyed by map changes or foot traffic, which is different from the intended Rotten Plant replacement. Displaying it on your farm does not satisfy the town placement condition.

Where did Lewis move it?
After that event, the statue appears in Lewis’s bedroom in most cases, or Marnie’s bedroom less often. There is a 90% chance it goes to Lewis and a 10% chance it goes to Marnie. Recovering it may require the friendship needed to enter the relevant bedroom; Lewis’s room requires two hearts.
You can display it again and repeat the Rotten Plant replacement, but the money letter arrives only once. If the original was genuinely lost, version 1.6.9 added a replacement at the Secret Woods Lost Items Shop for 10,000g. That shop is a recovery option, not an extra reward for solving the note.
