Warframe The Limbo Theorem: Proof Fragments and the Three Excavations
On this page
Activate The Limbo Theorem after the Europa Junction. Get Proof Fragments from enemies in the Syrtis quest’s Archwing Interception, craft the current Theorem key, then follow the quest excavations at Cambria, Martialis and Ose. Current keys take one fragment each; old three-fragment-per-key instructions are outdated.
Ordinary Warframes and standard quest rewards; quest and reward spoilers below.
Use an Archwing that can complete the opening
Finish the Jupiter-to-Europa Junction and make The Limbo Theorem active in the Codex. The opening at Syrtis, Mars, is an Archwing mission, so owning an ordinary Warframe loadout without an Archwing does not satisfy the whole route.
In the quest Interception, collect Proof Fragments dropped by enemies. They resemble orb pickups. The important supply comes from the drops, not an ordinary Interception end reward. Finish the mission safely and check the Foundry’s counter rather than expecting an automatic “enough fragments” prompt.

Build the theorem, not the finished Warframe part
The quest uses Neuroptics, Systems and Chassis Theorem keys to find the component blueprints. Each current key takes one Proof Fragment, so three fragments cover the three keys. Follow the active Foundry entry and its ingredient counter; older text may still mention three for a single key.
Craft and claim the current theorem before following Ordis’s next coordinate. The keys use the short quest-crafting timer. Do not confuse that item with the separate component you eventually need to assemble for a finished Limbo.

Use these completion checks
| Quest location | Action | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Cambria, Earth | Quest Excavation | Limbo Neuroptics Blueprint |
| Martialis, Mars | Next quest Excavation | Limbo Systems Blueprint |
| Ose, Europa | Final quest Excavation | Limbo Chassis Blueprint |
Keep excavators powered and defend them through the required Cryotic objective. The documented quest threshold is 300 Cryotic, equivalent to three fully completed excavators. If one is destroyed early, watch the total rather than counting it as a completed extractor.
Why another player’s normal node is not enough
Limbo’s parts are tied to the active quest. Joining an ordinary Excavation at the same node does not make the quest reward appear. Select the quest version and keep the quest active when you return for the next step.
Obtaining each component blueprint is enough to advance; you no longer have to wait for the Warframe component build between the stages. Once the quest is complete, buy Limbo’s main blueprint for Credits in the Market and assemble the three components when you are ready to make him.
