Use Armlet as a deliberate active fighting commitment, then decide whether Radiance’s surrounding damage or Desolator’s single-target physical pressure fits the game. Rage creates a limited debuff-immune window with magic resistance; it is not a reason to ignore every enemy spell or to spend Infest before deciding how to leave.

Lifestealer’s plan needs a reachable target and a way to keep dealing damage. This route is for a carry evaluating the next major item, not a recommendation to buy every option in sequence. The central choice is whether the next interval is about growing through repeated engagements or finishing a particular target.

Cast order and the commitment

  1. Inspect how the chosen target will escape or disable you. Arrange a reachable entry rather than turning Rage on before a long approach.
  2. Use Open Wounds for the intended target interaction and spend the useful Rage interval attacking, with Armlet managed deliberately.
  3. Reserve Infest for the host or exit your team actually supports. A theoretical escape that has no valid unit available is not a completed plan.

Skill priorities for this plan

Feast and the attack-oriented kit support repeated attacks; Open Wounds supplies a different kind of help by slowing a target and enabling healing from damage to it. Weight Rage levels against the protection needed for the next engagement. Do not copy an old skill layout without noticing that the current kit places Open Wounds and Ghoul Frenzy differently from some historical guides.

Talent branches: choose the failure you need to solve

TierCurrent alternativesPurpose
10Attributes / movement speedA broader stat contribution versus staying connected.
15Infest damage / attack speed on Open Wounds targetAn emergence burst versus more attacks on the marked unit.
20Infest host movement and health / Open Wounds healingHost utility versus the target-focused sustain plan.
25Feast / Rage durationStronger attack sustain and damage versus a longer protection window.

These are decision branches from the reviewed talent labels. Exact values can change; inspect the current selection panel before committing the point.

What the interaction actually changes

Feast’s reviewed maximum listed percentage is 3.25% of target maximum health for its damage and healing components. A 2,000-health target therefore gives a 65-point raw percentage component before the relevant reductions and modifiers. This is not a promise of 65 final damage or 65 net healing in every situation; it explains why target health matters to the interaction.

Reserve mana for the whole sequence

Cast or itemListed mana cost
Rage140
Open Wounds90
Infest150

140 + 90 + 150 = 380 mana. The reserve covers rank-4 Rage, one Open Wounds and rank-3 Infest. Additional item actives, another cast and any mana-cost modifiers are separate. Keep Infest’s part of the budget if it is the planned exit.

This is a sum of listed costs before mana-cost modifiers, regeneration or omitted actives, not a prediction of your exact displayed mana after the fight.

When the build fails, change the right part

Armlet drain cannot kill me, so why did I die?

That statement concerns the item’s own drain and strength removal. It is not invulnerability to an incoming hit.

Rage did not solve the fight

Check the exact enemy ability and the timing. Debuff immunity and magic resistance are not a blanket promise against every interaction.

Radiance is finished but the target still escapes

Burn damage is not hard catch. Reassess the access problem before buying more surrounding damage.
