Enshrouded World Settings Cannot Be Edited: Check Hotfix 1.0.0.2

Hotfix 1.0.0.2 fixes the world-settings configuration problem introduced in the previous hotfix. Update the affected installation before following the older Adventure Sharing subscription workaround.

Advice can remain online after the problem it addresses changes. In this case the sequence matters: an earlier notice offered a temporary workaround, and a later hotfix reports a correction. Keep the installed build in the report so a support reader can tell which state you are describing.
What to do, in order
- Read the installed version and compare it with Hotfix 1.0.0.2, build 1269579. Do not infer the build solely from a forum post’s date.
- Use the normal platform update flow if the affected installation is older, then return to the same world-settings action.
- Check whether the controls open and whether the intended setting is actually retained. Opening a menu and saving a change are different observations.
- If it still fails, report the world type, current build, exact action and any error. Keep a copy of the previous settings rather than changing several unrelated options at once.

A different machine still cannot edit
Verify that machine’s installed build separately. An update on one client is not evidence about another installation.
Conditions and limits
A reported fix is not a guarantee for every remaining configuration problem. Do not delete the world or alter unrelated security settings to test it.
