PUBG Hybrid Scope: switch 1x/4x, then choose the grip you need

Equip the Hybrid Scope and use the action bound to Sight Change to switch between 1x and 4x. Choose your grip separately: Tilted Grip combines recoil and camera-shake control, while the 41.1 Half Grip change increased its horizontal recoil control.

Make the scope switch work before changing sensitivity

  1. Check the inventory to confirm that the equipped optic is the Hybrid Scope. A conventional 4x optic is not the same attachment.
  2. Find the Sight Change action in your control bindings. Use the action assigned on your device; do not assume a remembered default key is still your binding.
  3. Check both magnifications in a controlled situation before an engagement. Confirm that you can return to 1x as readily as you can enter 4x.
  4. If the image does not change, recheck the attachment and binding before adjusting sensitivity. Sensitivity changes how you aim; it is not the magnification-switch action.

The useful feature is carrying both views in one optic. Our practical recommendation is to decide which view you want before an exposed movement, rather than discovering during the fight that you are still using the other magnification. This is a control habit, not a claim that 1x or 4x wins at a universal distance.

Tilted Grip versus Half Grip: read the trade, not a tier label

The published 41.1 Tilted Grip figures are 12% vertical recoil control, 6% horizontal recoil control and 25% camera-shake control while firing. The same update raised Half Grip’s horizontal control to 16%. These figures describe different properties; adding them together into one “total recoil reduction” would be misleading.

Starting decision: if visual camera disturbance is the issue you are trying to solve, Tilted Grip explicitly addresses it alongside recoil. If your concern is left-right spread, compare Half Grip’s horizontal emphasis. This is a reason to compare the options, not evidence that one is best on every weapon.

Keep the weapon, muzzle attachment, stance, fire pattern, optic magnification and comparison distance unchanged when evaluating a grip. Otherwise a switch from 4x to 1x, or a change in burst length, can be mistaken for the grip’s effect. Record the grouping and visibility separately; one can improve without proving the other improved by the same amount.

Why an old guide sends you looking for an Angled Foregrip

Update 41.1 removed the Angled Foregrip from world spawn and moved its horizontal-control role into the revised Half Grip. A guide built around an older attachment list can therefore give you a loot goal that no longer matches that ruleset.

Older Chinese PUBG attachment guides are useful for identifying the underlying question—vertical versus horizontal behavior—but their old percentages, compatibility lists and spawn assumptions need a separate version check. PUBG Mobile and older console instructions also should not be substituted for this game’s current controls.

A complete attachment decision, in order

  1. 1Set the optic mode and confirm Sight Change
  2. 2Identify recoil direction or camera disturbance
  3. 3Compare compatible grips without changing the other variables
Original loadout decision diagram, not a game interface or measured recoil plot.

A sensible setup starts with a weapon you can operate, an optic you can switch reliably and an attachment choice that addresses a specific weakness. It does not start by adding percentage labels from unrelated stats. Before committing to a copied build, check the actual item descriptions and compatible slots in the installed version.

The attachment behavior and figures above are from KRAFTON’s Update 41.1 patch notes, published April 8, 2026. They are labelled as that update’s baseline rather than presented as a verified latest-patch balance table. Editorial comparisons and the checking order are original; no accuracy percentage, kill-time gain or personal recoil measurement is claimed.
