A Healing Station can revive a downed ally inside its area. A dead teammate uses a different route: collect their Blue Chip from the deathbox and recall them at a Recall Station inside a Safehouse. Do not expect the downed-state healing interaction to replace the dead-player recall.

Check in this order

  1. Confirm whether the teammate is downed or fully dead before choosing the recovery interaction.
  2. For a downed teammate, check whether they are inside the Healing Station’s area and whether the team can defend that recovery.
  3. For a dead teammate, retrieve their Blue Chip from the deathbox, then use the Recall Station in a Safehouse.
  4. Assign someone to maintain the remaining objective work while recovery is attempted. Avoid sending every defender away together.

State first, equipment second

The two documented methods target different states. Repeating a healing action on a fully dead teammate does not test whether recall works. Communicate the state clearly so another teammate does not spend supplies solving the wrong problem.

Make recovery part of the defense plan

Before a difficult stage, decide who can handle a recovery interaction and who stays responsible for the objective. This is a role recommendation, not a fixed team composition. If the same player is operating a stationary weapon, collecting supplies and rescuing teammates, identify which job will be handed over when pressure rises.

Do not invent the missing cost or shortcut

The announcement supplies the Blue Chip, deathbox and Safehouse sequence. It does not establish one universal button, a guaranteed safe path, or a recall cost for every situation. Read the actual interaction prompt and keep the Blue Chip’s owner clear when more than one teammate has died.

If recovery does not work

Record the mode, teammate state, whether the chip was collected and which station you used. A missing chip, being outside a Healing Station’s area and a nonresponsive Recall Station are different symptoms. Keep the specific failed step when asking for help.
